A colleague of mine told me if you’re going to visit Copenhagen you must also visit Christiania. Of course I questioned her. What’s so intriguing about this place? In her own words she said “It’s a land where people are independent of the Danish government and live in their own rules”. Now this is the part which got me thinking. A place inhabited by its own tribe.. surely they don’t want outsiders trespassing on their land? The moment I stepped foot in this town, all questions were put aside.
Here’s Why You Should Visit The Colourful Town Known As Christiania…
The Danish capital has been voted the happiest place in the world. Known for its instagrammable streets, shopping districts and Michelin star restaurants.. It’s a perfect getaway for anyone who loves to dine and enjoy some retail therapy. The city goes way back when it was first known as a fishing village and then years later it was ruled by the Danish empire, which is now homed to many historical landmarks and relics. My favourite part? Most of the top attractions are a walking distance. Perfect for anyone who enjoys exploring by foot.

A trip wouldn’t be complete without visiting one of Hong Kong’s finest rooftops. Wooloomooloo is a steakhouse with incredible cocktails and skyline views. If you’re like me and enjoy a nice sizzling steak once in a while, why not take it up a notch and experience it near the clouds?
Despite Berlin’s dark history the city has worked hard to rebuild what it is now. A cultural hotspot for its art and architecture. The sky is unlimited when it comes to the city’s creativity. Cheap drinks you say? Berlin is the capital of that including the late night bars and restaurants. The city does not sleep. Deep down it has a very laidback lifestyle and personally the area was less chaotic than most of the cities I’ve visited.
Here’s what I got up to…
Coffee addicts listen up. We all agree that instagramming pretty lattes will always be a trend right? Why not practice in the comfort of your own home. If you’re confident you probably can master the art on YouTube, but lets be honest.. they make it look so easy. The best way to perfect it is having a pro barista train you in person.
